Ultimate Chocolate Truffles

Terrific Truffles

Truffles are one of the easiest things to make with this mix. You can create dozens of different flavors by adding different ingredients. You can also decorate them by rolling in, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, dipped in dark and white chocolate, add, sprinkles or shaved chocolate. Here are some ideas.

- Pecan Surprise Truffles- Use one of our Cinnamon Pecans in the middle. Simply roll a small amount of fudge around the pecan. Then decorate.

- Rocky Road Truffles- Add mini marshmallows and chopped peanuts to the fudge.

-Cape Cod Cranberry Truffles- Add dried cranberries and chopped cashews to the fudge.

-Orange Seville Truffles- Add 2 tbls of orange zest to the fudge.

- Toasted Coconut Truffles- Add shredded coconut to the fudge, dip in melted chocolate and top with toasted coconut.

-Rice Krispy Truffles- Add 3/4 cup rice krispies to the fudge.

-Chocolate Covered Cherry Truffles- Carefully roll fudge around a pitted maraschino cherry.

-Peppermint Truffles- Add in a tsp of peppermint extract in fudge, roll in dark chocolate and top with crushed candy canes.

Alternative non-traditional flavors:

- Chili Truffles- Add 1 tbls of good quality chili powder to the fudge.

-Strawberry Balsamic- Add a dash of good quality dark balsamic vinegar to the fudge. Add a strawberry flavored extract to melted white chocolate for dipping.

-Cordial Truffles- replace half of the milk needed with any of the following liquors: Baileys, Creme de Menthe, Amaretto creme, Kahlua) or any creamy liquor.
