Mixes- Did You Know?  (Fun Trivia!)

Did you know that we used to sell a Beer Bread mix that you bake in tin can?  Strange, but true!  You would add a little beer to the mix, pour into a used tin can and bake.  Over the years, we perfected the recipe and now our Beer Bread is a top seller!

Customer Comments:

Beer bread is excellent with a cider type beer over the regular.

I always tell people to use Shiner Bock. Definitely the best bread I've ever put in my mouth!! Hot out of the oven with a little bit of cinnamon butter...you will LOVE it!!!

I made the beer bread today. All I can say is YUMMMMMMMMMM! How
much easier does it get? Put the mix in a bowl, add 12 oz. of soda. Then put it in a greased bread pan and bake. It almost tastes like a breakfast bread. It is awesome. I am going to sample the rest to friends. Otherwise I will end up "piecing" it until it's all gone!  Lol

This bread is great!

Mixes Sampled: I had Cinnabon Bread (recipe from cookbook).  I sold out of all the mixes of the samples that I had on hand, but the biggest hit was the Cinnabon Bread (from beer bread).

Additional Comments: I should have had the Cinnabon Bread recipe on hand to pass out, but it was easy enough to remember and write down for the customers that bought the Beer Bread.

Try adding a package of Spinach Dip. It's truly amazing. Prepare as the directions say and then just stir in the Spinach Dip. And, if you're a little nutty like me, put Spinach Dip on it too. I win people over every time with that combo!

Fisherman Gift Basket

I took a small tackle box and filled it with the Hand- Painted fish bag, Beer Bread, and Corn Fritter/Hush Puppy Mix.  I surrounded the mixes with bobbers and cute little baits. I wrapped it in a shrink bag and put a green gingham bow on top, and the customer LOVED it!!! She said you are so on my father’s day list!!!
