Did you Know? – fun fact!
Did you know where the recipe for “Chicken and Dumpling Soup” came from? It is a family recipe from Melissa’s mother in law, Debbie Holmes! This recipe was always a favorite of Melissa’s! Melissa and her family still continue to enjoy this dish both at her house and her mother in law’s house! Its simplicity and great homemade taste make it a favorite to many.
My kids love this soup; actually they love all the TGC mixes. They love the texture of the biscuits in this soup as a bit lighter than traditional dumplings. They always fight over the dumplings.

This is a great soup especially on a cold evening. When I fixed it, I did not have a can of biscuits so I used Bisquick and made dropped dumplings. It was good ... my kids loved it!
