Did you know where the recipe for Nana’s Banana Nut Bread came from? It came from Nana!  Nana is Melissa’s mother-in-law.  Nana, Debbie Holmes, has been making this delicious, moist, recipe for years.  Its simplicity makes it a breakfast favorite at the Holmes’ household.

Gift Ideas Using This Mix

Attach a note to the mix stating:  “Thanks for being there when you were “kneaded” and for “rising” to the occasion, large or small.  Thanks for never “loafing” on the job and for helping others “heel” with TLC.  No matter how you “slice it”, you do a terrific job!”

Attach a note to this mix stating:  “If we could choose our friends, and we searched the whole world through, we’d go “bananas” trying to find a better “bunch” than you!”

Purchase an inexpensive loaf pan and set of pot holders and a small whisk or wooden spoon. Place a Nana's Banana nut bread in the loaf pan and arrange the pot holders and spoon. Nestle in some paper shred or tissue paper. Wrap in a clear cello bag.
