Customer Comments:

I used cranberries and blueberries, really good stuff....this bread is excellent anyway you make it.

Laura Bates from Susanville, CA

Make with a frozen bag of mixed blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. It's great especially in the mornings! I cut a couple of slices, put some butter on top, and pop it in the microwave for about 15 seconds. It is a wonderful breakfast!

Brandy Gunsolus from Bossier, LA

The fruit bread made with apple pie filling is amazing.

Blueberry Crumb Coffee Cake
Prepare Sweet Fruit Bread as directed using fresh or frozen blueberries.
Tip: to prevent your batter from turning blue, lightly toss blueberries in flour until lightly coated and gently fold into batter. Spread into a round or square 9 inch cake pan. Set aside. Mix a package of Fruit Crisp as directed. Sprinkle on top of the blueberry batter and then bake 45 minutes at 350 or until toothpick is clean in center.

Lemon Blueberry Muffins

Mix as directed, add in the juice and zest of 1 lemon and 1 pint of fresh blueberries. Place in greased or lined muffin tins. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes

Espresso Chip Loaf

Mix as directed, replacing the liquid with 1/2 cup of brewed espresso or strong coffee. Add in 1/2 of mini chocolate chips, cinnamon chips or espresso chips if you can find them. Mix and pour into a greased loaf pan and bake as directed.

Strawberry Shortcake
Prepare the mix with strawberries and serve like strawberry shortcake! Slice the bread, top with fresh strawberries and some juice, and top with whipped cream!

Cinnamon Swirl Bread
Create by mixing together brown sugar, cinnamon, and sugar. Make the Sweet Fruit Bread as stated on package and then divide bread dough mix in half.  Pour half in loaf pan, sprinkle cinnamon mixture in a swirl pattern and top with rest of bread mix. For a variety, you could also add a cup of diced fresh apples.

Pineapple Bread

Follow the instructions on the package, but use a 20 oz can of pineapple for the fruit! Yummy! I only had chunks of pineapple, but I ran them through my chopper and made a mush of them.

Sweet Apple Loaf

I made this mix replacing all of the oil with unsweetened apple sauce, and then added the egg and one whole apple that I peeled and chopped.  This made such a fantastic loaf of bread.  I sampled it at a few of my events and the bread just flew off the shelves!  Incredibly moist and delicious!

Gift Ideas Using This Mix:

Attach a note to the mix stating:  “Thanks for being there when you were “kneaded” and for “rising” to the occasion, large or small.  Thanks for never “loafing” on the job and for helping others “heel” with TLC.  No matter how you “slice it”, you do a terrific job!”
